Phil and family: I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was such a precious soul and all your friends knew how much she loved you! I always enjoyed seeing her at your concerts through the years and seeing that big smile on her face and love shining through her eyes as she watched and listened to you play and use your talent for the Lord. I pray GOD will wrap his big, loving arms around you and give you peace and strength during this time. Know that you are loved my friend and that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Brannon, Patsy, Phil, and Laura,

William and I extend to you and your family our very deepest condolences in the loss of Miss Muriel. We have been very saddened the last few days in learning of her condition, and now our hearts are truly very heavy, along with you all, in your having to say good-bye to her.

You all have been so very special to us and to our family for a long time. Dr. Brannon was such an exceptional pastor to this family, and to many others, when your family moved to Clanton. And we won't ever forget it. We love and lift you up in prayer today and in the coming days in your time of grief because we truly understand that God cares and sustains.

Most sincerely,

Mary Burnett Burt
