Claude Granger of Wicksburg (formerly of Quincy, FL) passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at Flowers Hospital.  He was 51. 

Claude was born October 29, 1964 in Tacoma, Washington to the late Claude Donald and Ingrid Rickert Granger.  Prior to his accident, he resided in Quincy, FL and was employed by The Printing House for more than 20 years.  Claude loved life and people and was beloved by everyone he came in contact with.  He had the unique gift of recognizing pain in others and used his wonderful sense of humor to bring laughter and a smile to their faces. 

Survivors include his fiancée, Kerry Glover of Wicksburg who lovingly cared for him since his accident in 2010; daughter, Breeze Stickley (Jeremy); son, Corey Granger both of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren: Beverly, Morgan and Savannah; sisters: Rebecca Harrod (Eddie) and Lyvonde Corbett (James) both of Crawfordville, FL; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. 

Funeral services for family and closest friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. CT Saturday, November 28, 2015 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Slocomb, AL with Rev. Teddy Ward officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pilgrim Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Wicksburg, AL. 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. CT until service time.
