Mr. Paul Edward Clark of Dothan went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 11, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 67.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2015 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Slocomb with Rev. Jim Tate officiating. Interment will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Paul was born June 8, 1947 in Geneva County to the late Euel Edward and Julia Elsie Williams Clark. After graduating from Geneva County High School in 1965, Paul attended Wallace College where he earned a degree in computer programming. He worked as the IT Manager for Houston County for 23 years until his retirement on June 1, 2012. Paul enjoyed fishing and spending time at Black Creek. His life was centered around Christ and his family. Paul was a wonderful husband, devoted father and dependable friend who was always willing to give you his time. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren with all of his heart. Although his family will deeply miss him, they are comforted and filled with joy knowing he is with our Lord and reunited with his devoted parents in heaven.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Jean Thomley Clark of Dothan; three children who will cherish his memory: Paula Michelle Casher (Lee), Teri Ann Mitchell (Todd), Bryan Edward Clark (Crystal) all of Dothan; five grandchildren: Daniel Paul Casher, Davis Wayne Mitchell, Madelyn Grace Mitchell, Carter Schulman Clark and Claire Elizabeth Clark ; many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Clark, Bill Hall, Tony Shirley, Mike Culver, Mike Holley and Andy Bush.

So very sorry to find out about Paul's passing. He was such a sweet and kind man. Even though it has been a long time ago that I had seen him, I will never forget him. Rest in Peace, Paul.
