Mrs. Sylvia Enfinger Peters of Slocomb passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at her home. She was 58.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. David Zorn officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Peters was born February 4, 1957 in Houston County to the late Gene and Nell Zorn Enfinger. Sylvia possessed a kind, outgoing and compassionate spirit. She was a wonderful cook and loved to sew. Sylvia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Peters, Slocomb; daughter, Tara Butler, Panama City, FL; two sons: Chris Peters, Malvern and Ronnie Peters II, Slocomb; two grandsons: Brandon and Preston Peters; sister, Lisa Brokaw (Scott), Houston, TX; three brothers: Bobby Enfinger (Donna), Keeseville, NY, Ronnie Enfinger, Slocomb and Shane Enfinger, Taylor; special nephew, Thomas Enfinger; nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Sylvia was a high school friend and school bus buddy that was always smiling. A sweetheart of a person for sure. So sorry for your loss.
