You could say her glass was always half full. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and like every southern lady, loved cooking for them. In addition to her parents, her husband, Albert P. Murphy; two sons-in-law:  Ray Ward and Dan Wack; three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters:  Linda Edmondson (Charlie) of Wicksburg, Wanda Key (Phillip) and Janice Wack all of Fadette; two sons:  Jerry Murphy (Myra) and Carl Murphy (Debbie) all of Fadette; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Murphy’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
