Wade Francis Youngblood of Slocomb passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at his residence. He was 52.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb. Burial will follow at Slocomb City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.
Wade was born July 14, 1961 in Milford, Connecticut to the late James N. and Patricia Ann Smith Youngblood. Wade worked as a chief auto technician for thirty years having been employed with Gibson automotive in Dothan for the last five years. He was an active member of the music community, playing drums for the Moon Rock Band.
Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Paige Youngblood, Slocomb; one son, Kyle Travis Youngblood, Ft. Sill, OK; mother of his children, Tanna Youngblood; one sister, Jamie Cole, Hartford; two brothers: Wayne Youngblood, Milford, CT and Joe Youngblood, Slocomb; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
