Mrs. Barbara Ann Baxley of Wicksburg passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at her home. She was 69.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 26 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb. In keeping with Mrs. Baxley’s wishes she will be cremated following the visitation.
Mrs. Baxley was born July 28, 1944 in Polk County, FL to the late Hayes and Nina Jean Roam Porter. She had lived in the Wicksburg area for a number of years.
Survivors include one sister, Peggy Parrish, Dothan and three brothers: Edward Bodiford, James Payton Porter and Broward Porter all of Wicksburg; several niece and nephews.
