Mrs. Parrish was born August 14, 1939, in Houston County to the late Jack and Louise McClenny. Ann was a great woman of faith and dedicated member of Bay Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed studying her bible and lived out her faith exemplifying Christ daily. Ann was never in a hurry, always on the phone having an abundance of things to talk about. Ann had a passion for art and enjoyed painting and attending art shows. She was always “fixed up”, hair just right, and lipstick always on. She loved her family immensely and took great pride in caring for her great nieces Karissa, Kayley, and Kendra whom she affectionately called “her girls”. Ann was married to the love of her life, Buddy, for over 66 years.
Survivors include her loving husband, Ernest Lex “Buddy” Parrish; son, Jeff Parrish (Lynda); siblings: Bennie Williford, Jackie Glover, Larry McClenny (Karen), Don McClenny (Neachole), and Derrel McClenny (Rena); nieces and nephews: Tonya Woodham (Tommy), Dric Williford (Linda), Brad Glover, Kerry Quincey (Jason), Scott McClenny (Lori), Adam McClenny, Blake McClenny (Haley), Casey McClenny, Taylor Clark, Jeremy McClenny (Gentry), and Chad McClenny (Cami); several great nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
