Brenda Thomas Roberts

Mrs. Brenda Thomas Roberts of New Brockton went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.  She was 72. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Enterprise with Pastor Michael Mynatt officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Elba. 

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday one hour prior to service time. 

Mrs. Roberts was born July 12, 1952, in Orlando, Florida to the late Duette and Vertie Hunt Thomas.  Brenda was a great woman of faith and dedicated member of Hilllcrest Baptist Church. She was an educator who enjoyed teaching and adored her students.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed. 

In addition to her parents, a sister, Wanda Shirley preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Ted Roberts; sons: Daniel Roberts and Brendon Roberts; grandson, Tristan Roberts; siblings: Joe Thomas, Doyle Thomas (Sharon), Sandra Crumbliss, and Angela Metcalf; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
