Mrs. Lorraine Wilson Clark of Slocomb, formerly of Portsmouth Virginia, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 78.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. Interment will follow in the Slocomb City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
Mrs. Clark was born August 14, 1945 in Altrincham Cheshire, England to the late Samuel P. and Christine Starkey Wilson. Lorraine was a woman of faith and member of the Church of God Faithful Flock. She enjoyed working in her garden, cooking, canning, and shopping.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Stephen E. Clark; stepson, Stephen “Bobby” Clark, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children: Kim Hill, Tonya Johnson, and Allen Raynor, Jr. all of Slocomb; stepdaughter, Terressa Clark, Portsmouth, VA; grandchildren: Casey Raynor, Tyler Raynor, Carson Raynor, Chris Clark, Mike Tonkin, and David Bateman, all of Virgina, Drew Harris, Bonifay, FL, Stephen West, Dothan, Jennifer Smith, North Carolina, Tiffany Hill of Minnesota, Wesley Johnson, Slocomb, Angela Lay, GA, and many more grandchildren, and great grandchildren; siblings: Sam Wilson of Texas, Phillis Davis, Lisa Wigginton, and Buddy Wilson, all of Louisiana; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
