Mr. Aubrey Van Sorrells of Geneva passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at Wiregrass Medical Center. He was 74.
A Visitation of family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to SARCOA, 1075 South Brannon Stand Road, Dothan, AL 36305 in Mr. Sorrells’s memory.
Mr. Sorrells was born October 7, 1949 in Hartford to the late Aubrey Shelton and Dura Mae Williams Sorrells.
In addition to his parents, siblings: Dalton Rex Sorrells, Hilda Faye Shepard, Treadwell “Ted” Sorrells, and Peggy Denise Sorrells all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughter, Beth Ann Rodriguez; son, Joseph David Sorrells; grandchildren: Frankie Rodriguez, Justin Rodriguez, Gabriella Rodriguez, Isabella Rodriguez, and Ruby Sorrells; sister, Elaine Helms (Tim); extended family and friends.
