Barbara "Bobby" Brown

Mrs. Barbara “Bobby” Brown of Bonifay passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Bonifay Nursing Home. She was 91. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Ryan Martin officiating. Entombment will follow in the Memory Hill Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time. 

Mrs. Brown was born February 19, 1932 in Narberth Pennsylvania to the late Earl Day Ehrhart, Jr. and Ethel McKee Ehrhart. She was a caretaker to her two brothers, and was a hard worker. Barbara grew up in New Jersey, later moved to Orlando. She helped out on the farm; an animal lover and she was a nurse. 

In addition to her parents, her first husband, Jim Penny; second husband, Jimmy Brown; daughter Dianne Penny; two brothers: Earl “Petey” Day Ehrhart III, and Warren Ehrhart, all preceded her in death. 

Survivors include, daughter-in-love, Theresa Haddock; grandson, Cole; sister-in-law, Pam Coleman; special friends, Becky Clark, Stella Wilson, and Callina Pleas.
