Mrs. Marjorie S. Reeder of Slocomb went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 26, 2023.  She was 91. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at New Teamon Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Chorn officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time. 

Mrs. Reeder was born April 9, 1932 in West Point, GA to the late John and Georgia Stewart. Marjorie was a loving wife, adoring mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. 

In addition to her parents, her husband, Cecil Reeder, and a son, Mark Reeder, son-in-law, Freddy Brannon (husband of Melanie Brannon) all preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her daughters: Melanie Brannon, Dothan, and Kimberly Seagers, Santa Rosa Beach, FL; sons: Philip Reeder (Angie), Dothan, and Vince Reeder, TX; grandchildren: Candace Trawick, Brent Reeder, Brandon Reeder (Jessica), Justin Reeder (Kayla), Austin Snellgrove, Caden Seagers, Trenton Reeder, and Cheyenne Bower; great grandchildren: Jonah Trawick, MaKenzie Brannon, Karleigh Reeder, Emmett Reeder, Leighton Reeder, Braxton Reeder, Cecil Reeder, and Bella Newberry;  brothers: Frank Stewart (Ann), and Tommy Stewart (JoAnn); several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
