Lois was born October 18, 1929 in Geneva County to the late Shelley and Ruth Seay. She was a lifelong resident of Slocomb and Malvern area where her and her husband Leon farmed and raised three children. She also worked at Gaylord’s Dept. Store and Slocomb High School lunchroom where she retired from after ten years. Lois loved her family and enjoyed having her family gather at her house to enjoy her delicious home cooked meals. No one ever left her house hungry, because she always insisted that you eat while you were there whether you were hungry or not. Lois loved Malvern Baptist Church especially her Sunday School Class and her pastor, Hosea Parker. She always said her week didn’t start right unless she went to church. One of her favorite things was to have all of her family attend church with her on special occasions. Lois met the love of her life, Leon as she was walking to church. They married on November 27, 1948. They were married 58 years.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Leon McNeil; siblings: John T. Seay, Jerry Seay, Doris Seay, Charlie Seay, and Blondell Seay; son in law, Joe Max King.
