Joyce Crutchfield

Mrs. Joyce Crutchfield of Slocomb passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at her home. She was 75. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb with Rev. Teddy Ward officiating and Sorrells funeral Home of Slocomb directing. Interment will be in Slocomb City Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. 

Mrs. Crutchfield was born April 15, 1948 in Elizabeth City, NC to the late Grover Clyde and Ilene Peel Quattlebaum.  Joyce retired from AAA Cooper after many years.  She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. 

In addition to her parents, her husband, Joe Crutchfield; and brother, Larry Quattlebaum preceded her in death. 

Survivors include two daughters: Christy Register, and Gina Butler (Travis); grandchildren: Hannah Register Price (Drew), Dalton Register, Angibeth Strickland, and Baylen Strickland; great granddaughter, Rylee Claire Price; other extended family and friends.
