Kade resided most of his life in Slocomb where he played sports at a young age and later graduated from Slocomb High School. His zest for life provided him the opportunity to travel many states while working with his prior employer. Kade’s laughter filled the room and you could always find him telling one liner to anyone. He had a smile that was contagious, and his outlook on life was always positive. Kade looked at his life as an adventure 24/7.  His excitement could not be contained when he accepted Jesus at ten-years-old, returning from youth camp. He jumped out of the church van running to his dad to tell him he accepted Jesus and was saved. Recently, he had begun journaling his daily thoughts to God. Kade found his hope in Jesus after some of life’s struggles. He attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Slocomb.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Martha Jean Childs and Dianne Anderson.

Survivors include his mother, Stephanie Enfinger and step-father, Kevin Enfinger; father, Mark Childs and step-mother, Melisa Childs; two brothers: Kaleb Childs (Mackenzie) and Tanner Martin; two step-sisters: Laekyn Enfinger, and Kyla Simpson; grandfather, Malcom Childs; son, Kyler Richardson; mother of his son, Lindsey Richardson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
