Mr. Larry Randall Shoupe of Wicksburg passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023.  He was 69. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Wicksburg Assembly of God Church with Rev. Tim Simmons officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Larry will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 

Larry was born January 6, 1954 in Bay County, Florida to the late Junior Haywood and Dorothy Louise Reynolds Shoupe. He was a member of the 1972 graduating class of Wicksburg High School.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, playing & coaching football, and was an avid Alabama football fan.  Larry was a loving husband, and an adoring father and grandfather and will be dearly missed. 

In addition to his parents, a brother, Hayward Peleiholani preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Starla Kornegay Shoupe; sons: Brandon Shoupe (Brooke), Clayton Shoupe (Rachel), and Patton Shoupe (Kaylen); six grandchildren: Ethan Shoupe, Sara Shoupe, Cole Shoupe, Taylor Shoupe, JT Shoupe, Porter Shoupe; siblings: Lorri Shoupe Hughes (Dennis), and Lynn Shoupe; sister-in-law, Krystal Devine (Steve); brother-in-law, Steven Kornegay (Kay); Jamel and Jamal Harris whom he loved as sons; nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family friends.
