David Saul Fugate

Mr. David Saul Fugate of Slocomb passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 at his home. He was 78. 

At Mr. Fugate’s request, the family will have a private Celebration of Life service at a later day when his son will be home. 

Mr. Fugate was born March 26, 1945 in Geneva County to the late S.C. and Ann Holloway Fugate. David was a simple man who loved life, his family and friends. 

In addition to his parents his son, Dwayne Fugate and sister, Betty Thorne preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his wife, Dianne Fugate, Slocomb; daughter, Stephanie Fugate Atwell (Steve), Dothan; sons: Rodney Fugate (Teresa) and Scott Enfinger (Kelley) both of Slocomb; grandchildren: Clay Pope (Jayde), Slocomb, Brooke Knowles, Slocomb, Megan Porter (Josh), Lake Park, GA, Jake Enfinger, Slocomb, Logan Bedsole, Slocomb, Jon Bedsole (Leandra), Slocomb, Kaylee Eubanks (Jonathan), Slocomb, Kristie Pippin Cothern (Jessie), Headland, and Ashley Pippin, Rehobeth; great-grand, Waylon Pope, Slocomb and several other great-grandchildren; sister, Gail Clark, Dothan and brother, Dennis Fugate, Ohio; other extended family and friends.
