Mrs. Jeretha Williams Fondren of Slocomb passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at Westside Terrace in Dothan.  She was 78. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Byron Bruner officiating.  Interment will follow in the Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 pm. until service time. 

Mrs. Fondren was born March 11, 1944 in Henry County to the late Comer Lee and Ila Owens Williams. 

In addition to her parents, a son, Tony Barron; and her husband, Johnny Fondren preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her children: Tammy Green (Tim), and Tracy Barron (Patsy); grandchildren: Zach Green (Kristyn), Kali Green, Caleb Green, Whitney Barron (Samantha), Tyler Dean, Heather Reagan (Robert), Josh Cobb, Mila Deckard, Shane Barron, and Cade Barron; great grandchildren: Ivey Jo Barron, Mason Dean, Konnor Dean, Kinsleigh Trawick, Cruz Clayton, and Ayra Deckard; other extended family and friends. 

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Betty Lee, Asianna Critten, and Annie White for the loving care they provided to Mrs. Fondren at Westside Terrace.
