Mr. Michael E. Davis of Hartford passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Southeast Health. He was 72.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 in the chapel at Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Pastor John Dowdy and Brandy Dowdy officiating.
Michael was born July 6, 1949 in Orlando, FL to the late Robert and Agnes Deanhofer Davis. He was employed by Branton Land Surveyors where he spent 22 years before his retirement. He was an avid book reader, collector of movie memorabilia and was a member of the Order of The Arrow with the Boy Scouts of America.
In addition to his parents, his brother, Robert “Bobby” Davis preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Davis; daughter, Lindsey Lunsford; son, Michael Davis; two grandchildren, Breanna Harper and Aria Lunsford; sister, Diana Stack (Davis); nieces, nephews and other extended family.
