Mr. Norman Joseph Youngblood of Slocomb, formerly of Milford, CT, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at his home. He was 58.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. Interment will follow in the Slocomb City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
Mr. Youngblood was born October 5, 1962 to the late James N. & Patricia Ann Smith Youngblood. Joe was an avid Alabama football fan, loved anything to do with Harley Davidson motorcycles, and enjoyed spending time with the “Chain Gang” down at Chainsaws in Graceville.
In addition to his parents, brother, Wade Youngblood and lifelong brother, Frank Palumbo all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Patty Virgalla, Slocomb; son, Joseph Norman Youngblood, Milford, CT; sister, Jaime Cole, Hartford; brother, Wayne Youngblood (Lynn), Milford, CT; K-9 companion, Sarge; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
