Mr. Joseph Kenneth Cook of Wicksburg went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 82.

The Cook Family is having a casual get together for the people who knew and loved Kenneth Cook on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Big Red Barn at Stephen and Sheila’s home: 3650 Judge Logue Rd. Newton, Alabama 36352. 

Mr. Cook was born December 21, 1937 in Wing, AL to the late George C. and Vergie Douglas Cook. 

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made in honor of Mr. Cook to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, Inc., PO Box 111180, Nashville, TN 37222-1180. 

In addition to his parents, two brothers: George C. Cook, and Earl Cook preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his wife, Rea “Reby” Cook; three sons: Joseph Daniel Cook (Marian) Athens, James Timothy Cook (Cheryl), Wicksburg, and Stephen Othniel Cook (Sheila), Wicksburg; grandchildren: Aaron Cook, Danielle Cook, Karina Cook, Caleb Cook, Joshua Cook, Mary-Anne Cook, Andrew Cook, Sarah Cook, Whitney Cook, Daniel Cook, and Demond Cook; great grandchildren: Abbie Cook, Liam Cook, and Carter Cook; sisters: Betty Joyce Challancin (Gene), Ocala, FL, Katrina Hatcher (Wayne), Panama City, FL, and Sharron Ann Bush (Tony), Panama City, FL; brothers: Leonard Cook (Gwen), Pensacola, FL, Rodger Cook, Hartford, and Roland Cook (Sharron); numerous other nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
