Donald David Bolin

Mr. Donald David Bolin of Slocomb passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020. He was 59.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2020 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Tony Woods and Rev. Chris Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mr. Bolin was born July 5, 1960 in Dothan, AL to Janie Louise Baxley Bolin Spivey and the late Donald Bolin. Donald was a dedicated farmer and cattle hauler. He loved trucks, tractors, and skiing. Donald was a loving father, friend to many, and he will be dearly missed.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Slocomb High School FFA.

In addition to his father, grandparents: F.W. and Vera Bolin and Jim and Mildred Baxley; uncles: James David Baxley, and Glen Bolin all preceded him in death.

Survivors include daughters: Cheyanne Bolin, and Dallas Bolin; son, Laramie Bolin; mother, Janie Spivey (Donald); the mother of his children, Paula Bolin; his pet dog Bella; other extended family and friends.
