Mr. Kevin Christopher Smith passed away Friday, November 15, 2019. He was 51.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 in Christian Home Church of Christ in Wicksburg with Rev. Mark Turner officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family in Kevin’s honor.
Kevin was born April 29, 1968 in Tuscaloosa, AL. Kevin was one of a kind! He possessed so much integrity, had many talents, and had a heart of gold. He would “give you the shirt off his back”, loved everyone no matter their social status, and never judged anyone.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents: Fred and Jonell Stroble, Thomas A. Smith, Sr., Jean O. Smith, and Myrtle Callahan; and step mother, Martha J. Smith.
Survivors include a son, Christopher Tyler Smith; parents: Judy A. Johnson, Thomas A. Smith, Jr., Johnny and Susie Powell; siblings: Tommy Smith, Linda Harden (Tim), Mike Smith (Nan), his twin brother, Ken Smith (Mileidy), Andrew Larson, Justa Willingham, Katherine Manderson, Cole Powell, and Wes Powell; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
