Mr. Randy Eugene Trawick of Slocomb passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019. He was 59.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Chuck Spivey and Kenneth J. Santora officiating. Burial will follow in Slocomb City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Trawick was born March 20, 1959 in Geneva County to the late Elmer and Dessie Hollon Trawick. Randy was the owner of Keels Service Station where he was a hard worker and enjoyed the many visitors who stopped by his station to see him. He also farmed for many years and always wanted to help others. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. Randy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, brother, Jimmy Trawick preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Trawick; sisters: JoAnn Buntin (Greg), Ashford, Dean Braswell, Dothan and Ilona Jackson (Ted), Daleville; brothers: Larry Trawick, Fountain, FL, Olan Trawick (Ruby), Columbia and Zolan Trawick, Montgomery; nieces: Rebecca Baxley (Ryan), Josie Buntin and Kristyn Trawick (Zach); nephews: Trent Hughes (Whitney) and Christopher Trawick (Mary Rose) other extended family and friends.
The family would like to say a special thank you to James Waters, Moody Smith, Kenneth Santora and Don Corley for their dedication and help to Randy.
