Mr. Auburn Bradley, 93 of Malvern, passed away peacefully Friday, January 25, 2019 at Hartford Health Care.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Lee Chorn officiating. Interment will follow at Christian Home Church Cemetery in Black.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Mr. Bradley was born October 30, 1925 to the late James Henry and Mary Mellissa Odom Bradley.  He retired from Twitchell Corporation and spent the remainder of his life enjoying his family and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vernice Skipper Bradley; six brothers: Jesse, Sam, Lewis, Calvin, James, and Bill Bradley; five sisters: Sally Bradley, Lena Coley, Ida Daniels, Lela Sawyer, and Mandy Sapp.  Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Tew (Terry), Slocomb; one son, Tommy Bradley, Malvern; three grandchildren:  Tonya Rodgers, Brad Tew, and T. J. Bradley; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to Malekae Walker, Felicia Hall and the entire Day Springs Hospice team; along with Patricia Whitehurst and the staff of Hartford Health Care for the compassionate care provided to our “Aubie”.
