Beryl Meyers Roach, 84, of Daleville, Alabama, passed from this life on December 16 at 10:00 following a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family. A Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Daleville with Reverend Lee Jones officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until the time of service. Beryl was born on November 27, 1934, at Caughdenoy, New York, to Glenn and Susan Roach. Upon graduating high school he joined the U.S. Army and retired after 21 years. He then worked for civil service for over thirty years. He assisted Pat in showing horses; he loved doing cross-word puzzles. He is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla (Pat Fuller) Roach of over sixty years; his four children: Doug and Elizabeth Roach of Lexington, North Carolina, Dean and Beth Roach of Clarksville, Tennessee, Diane (Roach) and Robert Chalmers of Las Vegas, Nevada and Deborah (Roach) Cook of Daleville, Alabama. He has seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He also is survived by three sisters: Eleanor Pryor, Louise Dean and Martha Hayden all of Fulton, New York. The family wishes to acknowledge Cynthia Curenton and Patricia Copes of Dayspring Hospice. There will also be a memorial and interment service at Mount Adnah in Fulton, New York at a future date. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Daleville.

To the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I met Pop and Mom as My brother Robert and I lovingly called them for the first time last year. I felt as if I had know them all of my life. They both are so very kind and sweet. Pop will truly be missed.

We are all blessed to have known him, to have heard the fond stories my Dad (Robert Meyers/Uncle Robert) would tell of summer adventures on the farm, to have witnessed his service to our country while stationed I n Germany, and to see the powerful love of family.
