Mr. Osker Yeomans of Dothan passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his residence. He was 67.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Pondtown United Methodist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 6 until 8 p.m.
Mr. Yeomans was born December 15, 1945 in Geneva County to the late Emmett Lee and Vera Ayers Yeomans.
In addition to his parents, three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Bradley Floyd (Shonna), Albany, GA; one granddaughter, Brittney; three grandsons: Wyatt, Britt and Hunter; three sisters: Martha Hammond, Hartford, Donnie Berry (Randy Floyd), Dothan and Vonnie Brewer (Andy), Geneva; one brother, Wayne Yeomans, Montgomery; very special friend, Joanne Jackson; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Our prayers are with the family at this very tough time. Osker was in My class in Hartford, Al a long time ago and I knew His Mother also. I had just talked with Him about 6 years ago and My heart goes out to all the family. He was a very nice person and will be missed very much.
