Mr. Randall Price of Slocomb passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his home. He was 63. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at New Teamon Baptist Church in Slocomb with Rev. Lee Chorn officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends at New Teamon Baptist Church on Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the New Teamon Baptist Church Building Fund. Mr. Price was born February 8, 1954 in Columbus, GA to the late Lawrence and Eura Rogers Price. Randall was a 1972 graduate of Slocomb High School and retired from Centurylink after 33 years of service. In addition to working at Centurylink, he worked with and had a love for cattle, specifically Angus Cattle. Randall served the Alabama Angus Association as President and his family was named both the Geneva County and Alabama Angus Association Family of the Year. What brought him the greatest joy was spending time loving the five that called him Papa. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents, one brother, Roger Price preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Kathy Vickers Price, Slocomb; children: Kari Dawkins (Bryan), Slocomb and Marc Price (Heather), Shreveport, LA; grandchildren: Reid, Olivia, Julia, Rand and William; brothers: Larry Price (Barbara), Terry Price (Phyllis) all of Slocomb, Ron Price (Cindy), Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Tim Price (Serena), Chattanooga, TN; sister-in-law: Martha Price, Slocomb; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Randall when Centurylink was still GTE. I considered him a great friend and employee. We stayed in touch from time to time since my retirement. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences goes out to the Price Family. I worked with Randall at Gte/Centurylink. He was a joy to work with, always had us laughing .I pray that God give you strength and courage in this time of sorrow, he will truly be missed.
