Mrs. Mary Jane Saunders Trawick of Malvern went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  She was 62. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Malvern Baptist Church with Rev. Hosea Parker , Bro. Brad Reeder and Bro. David Roland officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing. 

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time. 

Flowers will be accepted or contributions made be made to Malvern Baptist Church Bus Fund, PO Box 97, Malvern, AL 36349. 

Mrs. Trawick was born November 16, 1954 in Houston County to the late Doyce and Christine Jones Saunders. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her family and friends. Mary Jane was a woman of great faith, enjoyed studying the scriptures and was always prepared to share what she learned with others. She was a member of the Dorcas Sunday school class at Malvern Baptist Church. Mary Jane was a loving wife, caring mother and adoring grandmother who will be truly missed. 

Survivors include her husband, Johnnie Trawick, Malvern; two daughters: Kristi Gallagher (Shawn), Malvern and Kasey Peters (Stephen), Slocomb; one son, Jonathan Trawick (Kimberly) Rehobeth; three grandchildren: Shelby Gallagher, Kasen Peters and Karter Peters; one sister, Gail Roland (Greg), Malvern; special nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends; and her special dog named, Jake.

I am so sorry to hear this about your mother !!!!! And Johnnie I am very sorry to hear this about Jane !!!!!!! I got y'all in my prayers !!!!! I don't think I'll be able to attend the funeral this Saturday !!!!! But I will be thinking about y'all and be praying for y'all too !!!! Man !! I just can't believe this !!!!
