Mr. Don Taylor of Malvern passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Noland Hospital. He was 68. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Slocomb. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time. Flowers will be accepted or contributions in Don's honor may be made to your favorite charity. 

Mr. Taylor was born August 5, 1947 in Washington County, FL to Thelma Taylor and the late Oscar Taylor.  Don was an avid fisherman, gardener and cook. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed. 

In addition to his father, one son, Don "Todd" Taylor Jr. preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his wife, Becky Taylor, Malvern; two sons: Jeff Taylor (Dara), Blountstown, FL and Corey Taylor (Joy), Chipley, FL; three step-children: Alicia Dawkins (Brad), Ozark, Michelle Gouge (Cricket), Jacksonville, FL and Gary Gouge (Brock), Dothan; grandchildren, Tori Taylor, Bryce Lambeth and Hailey Lambeth; mother, Thelma Taylor, Chipley, FL; four sisters: Joan Whitehurst, Marianna, FL, Jean Nelson, Graceville, FL, Linda Gardner, Chipley, FL and Sue Frazier (Bill), Chipley, FL; two step-grandchildren: Austin Sitz and Kaddan Sitz; best friend, Howard Slay; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
