 Mr. Wallace Lee of Wicksburg went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 3, 2015 at his home.  He was 84. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 6 at Pilgrim Home Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Hood and Rev. Teddy Ward officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.

 In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to Pilgrim Home Baptist Church Building Fund or Gentiva Hospice. 

Mr. Lee was born November 23, 1930 in Houston County to the late Robert and Eunice Haymon Lee. Wallace was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He retired from GTE after 32 years of service. Mr. Lee was a member of Pilgrim Home Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Burkett Lee, Wicksburg; daughter, Kelli Reed (Trabo), Montgomery; son, Stan Lee (Vicki), Irmo SC; three grandchildren: Trey Reed, Anna Lee and Rob Lee; great granddaughter, Brookelyn Sauls; sister, Quinn McAllister, Dothan; special friend, Gus Schaper, Dothan; other extended family and friends. 

The family would like to express a special thank you to the members of Pilgrim Home Baptist Church for their prayers, love and support during this time.
