Louise Harris, age 92, of Slocomb passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Slocomb with Rev. Brad Price officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to service time.  Burial will follow at Slocomb City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

Mrs. Harris was born in Geneva County, Alabama on August 17, 1928.  She lived most of her life in Slocomb. She owned and operated Super Cleaners for 36 years. She and her husband Bill enjoyed many days fishing and working in their garden. She loved her flowers. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Slocomb, where she worked in the nursery for many years. 

Preceding in death were her parents, James W and Carrie Graves, her husband Bill Harris, her children, Vickie Harris, Jimmy Don Harris, and Sylvia Cox. Also preceding in death were her siblings, Verna Graves, Junior Graves, Blondell Snell, Clyde Graves, Hazel Tew and Ben Graves. 

Survivors include one son, Ernie Harris (Joyce) and grandchildren Terry (Cindy) Williford, Walter Madden (Phyllis), Angie Hutt (Trey), Billy Bryan Cox, Michelle McLendon (Chris), Jennifer Bryant (Jason), Lori Ann Womack, Anna Lynn Scudder (Gary), Lareina Clark (Jay), sixteen great- grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. 

Contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Slocomb. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. 

Nanny, we love you and will miss you so much!
