Mrs. Grace Lee Enfinger of Slocomb went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. She was 91. 

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Theresa Howard officiating. 

Mrs. Enfinger was born November 14, 1927 to the late J.R. and Minnie Bell Smith. Grace was a lifelong resident of Slocomb, Alabama. She was a hard worker who enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing for her family and community. She was known for her 14-layer chocolate cakes, chocolate tarts and tea cakes. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was affectionately known as Mammaw. Mrs. Enfinger was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Slocomb. 

Survivors include her husband of 73 years, J.S. Enfinger; daughter, Helen Whitaker; son, Rodger Enfinger (Debbie); grandchildren: Kim Saunders (Joey), Tami Smith (Todd), Leigh Ann Hubbard (Sam), Sherry Webb (Kyle), Carrie Thomas (Burke) and Terry Enfinger (Michelle); great grandchildren: Savanna and Chase Saunders, Ashlyn Jones (Landon), Alyssa Hubbard, Jerritt and Addison Thomas, Grayci and Kooper Webb and Ellarie and Maggie Enfinger; sister, Nellie Slaughter (Jimmy); other extended family and friends.
