Mrs. Pearl Senn Riley of Slocomb went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 26, 2018.  She was 73. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at New Hinson Baptist Church with Pastor Bryan Klobe officiating.  Interment will follow in the East Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Graceville, FL with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 

Mrs. Riley was born September 24, 1944 in Barbour County. Pearl enjoyed spending time at the Slocomb Senior Citizen’s Center where she was an active member and frequent volunteer. She was a woman of faith and member of New Hinson Baptist Church. Pearl was a loving mother and adoring grandmother who will be profoundly missed. 

 Pearl was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Senn Hughes; her husband, Odis Riley, siblings: Nell Gordon and Willie James “Pete” Riley. 

Survivors include daughters: Joyce Brown, Pace, FL, Carolyn R. Smith (Richard), Slocomb, Patricia Brown (Larry), Pensacola, FL, and Sonda Farmer, Dothan; siblings: Judy Jordan, Wedowee, and David Riley, Newton; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; one stepson; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
