Mr. Forrest Ledon Tucker of Geneva passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 62.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Ricky Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Tucker was born January 4, 1956 in Geneva County to the late Roy and Janie Stevens Tucker. He loved to fish, play golf, ride motorcycles, watch Nascar and was an avid Alabama football fan. Forrest was a wonderful dad and adoring grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Tucker Dowling (Todd); his son, Matthew Tucker; two granddaughters: Matti Sue Dowling and Tenley Tucker; his brother Rickey Tucker (Wanda); niece, Carmen Schuler (Matt); nephew, Lance Tucker (Jennifer) and a special friend Shirley Wasson; other extended family and friends.

We talked here and there on Facebook, always helping each other out of a stressful situation or just to talk.. I’ll miss those talks. Thanks for being you Forrest. ❤️
