Mrs. Annie Lee Waterson of Slocomb passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Flowers Hospital. She was 88.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Slocomb with Rev. Cooper Totten officiating. Interment will follow in the Immanuel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Waterson was born January 15, 1930 in Geneva County. Annie Lee enjoyed gardening and fishing. She was a caring mother and adoring grandmother who loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, her husband, Walter Leon Waterson; brothers: Nathan Carroll and Gerald "Dane" Carroll all preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons: Wallace Leon Waterson, Warren Eugene Waterson and William Lester Waterson (Gayle); two grandsons: Michael Allen Waterson and Jered Anthony Waterson; siblings: Cherry Odum (Bill) and David Carroll Sr.; nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
