Mrs. Geraldine C. Kelley of Slocomb passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at her home. She was 82. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Slocomb with Rev. Larry Newton and Rev. Ryan Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Slocomb City Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time. 

The family request in lieu of flowers contributions in honor of Mrs. Kelley be made to the charity of your choice. 

Mrs. Kelley was born May 3, 1935 in Geneva County to the late Alvin and Vira Price Culverhouse. Geraldine proudly served as director of East Geneva County Senior Citizen until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Slocomb. Geraldine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. 

In addition to her parents her husband, John Paul Kelley preceded her in death. 

Survivors include three sons: Phillip Kelley (Pam), Slocomb, Ronnie Kelley (Sybil), Dothan and Dr. Allan Kelley (Sue Ellen), Dothan; eight grandchildren: Zane Kelley (Misty), Zach Kelley (Shanica) both of Wicksburg, Robyn Matthison (Will), Lindsey Rushing (Tommy), Ami Riley (Mark), Mollie Kelley, Griffin Kelley all of Dothan and Anna Sanders (Zac), Ft. Worth, TX; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
